How do you know if the villa you have chosen is child friendly?
Planning and preparation are crucial steps for a perfect vacation. Especially for those traveling with children, those who need to be better equipped for the health and safety of minors… Regardless of the type of accommodation you choose to stay in, it is important to ask service providers about children's facilities.
If you choose to stay in a private villa rental that is ideal for large groups of friends and families, here are five questions to ask to figure out if the rental villa or holiday home you dream of staying in is kid-friendly.
1. Is the villa safe for children?
The first and most critical question parents should ask about the villa - is whether it safe for kids to stay at home. Speaking of the word security, in this scenario, it means the security of the location of the property. This is because some of the luxury villas are located in areas that could be dangerous for children to play on property. Sometimes the villa is located just above the cliff to improve the panoramic view from the property and this may not be good for active youngsters who like to run around either.
Of course, this can happen, although there are villas built on a hill or slope with large plots of land that are safe for children.
Ideally, a beachfront villa would be perfect for anyone traveling with children.
2. Can staff help take care of the children?
Some parents may want to be alone together and ask for a little help looking after the children. In this case, ask the villa if they provide any babysitting services. This service is not normally available in a private villa. However, some of the villas can either outsource services from their contracted companies or have an in-house service that will cost a little extra.
4. Is there a children's pool?
Most of the main part of our private luxury villas is an elegant infinity pool. But how many of them have a children's pool? Not every holiday home has a suitable children's pool. As a paddling pool, there will usually be a shallow area allowing children to enjoy the pool with their parents. 5. Are there other child services?
Many villas will provide standard infant/child amenities such as highchairs and cots. However, if you plan to travel in a large group with more than one child, be sure to request that more children's facilities be prepared. It may also be good to know if the villa provides any other child-oriented activities such as a playground or playroom. Some villas even have a game room equipped with Play Station and Xbox with a high-end sound system.
